Job summary

Voize is hiring a Solutions Engineer who owns the full technical journey of our customers—from presales checks to ongoing operations. You’ll be the primary technical contact, bridging Voize and customer IT, validating infrastructure, configuring secure setups, solving issues, and scaling deployments to ensure a smooth, long-term success.

You’ll join a fast-growing startup with a flexible work setup (Berlin office or remote in Germany), own tasks across pre-sales, deployment, and support, and

Qualifications

• Expert Windows/Linux system administration and network configuration skills (firewalls, proxies, routing, MDMs, APIs).
• Solid experience with virtualization, Docker, web servers (Nginx, IIS), and load balancing.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across APIs, browsers, infrastructure, and devices.
• Clear communicator with empathy for both technical and non-technical users.
• Proactive, self-directed, and skilled in documentation and technical handoffs.
• Experience with start-ups will help you thrive in this role.
• You’re confident in German (C2) to support customers and fluent in English (C1) to work closely with colleagues - we’ll support you with language courses if needed.

Responsibilities

• Several years of experience as a Linux or Windows Administrator.
• Troubleshoot issues across systems, networks, browsers, and interfaces with clarity and empathy.
• Support technical scaling (e.g. growing user bases, infra changes).
• Document setups and technical handoffs for smooth internal collaboration.
• Flag recurring issues and contribute to internal tools, docs, or processes.
