Job summary

Station, a fast-growing Munich tech start-up, is hiring an early-stage Software Engineer to help build and ship AI-powered products at pace. You’ll work closely with the founders, take real ownership from day one, and have a major say in the product, architecture, and engineering culture.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys ambiguity, moves quickly, and wants to see their work in customers’ hands, not stuck in a backlog.

Qualifications

• Experience building with LLMS, RAG, or AI agents.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or OpenAI tools.
• Ownership mindset: able to make decisions, ship with minimal process.
• Thrives in early-stage startup life with high autonomy and velocity.

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering experience, ideally across product, backend, or full-stack development
• Experience building with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or modern AI application tooling
• Exposure to technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Azure AI, or AWS Bedrock
• A practical, ownership-led mindset: able to make decisions, solve problems, and ship without lots of process
• Excitement about the reality of early-stage start-up life: high autonomy, changing priorities, and plenty of opportunity to make an impact
• Genuine influence over what gets built and how it is built
• High autonomy and direct access to the founders
