Lufinity AI in Munich seeks a German-speaking AI software engineer to join a small, high-performing team building production AI systems. You will own parts of the architecture, shape AI capabilities, and deploy them into real-world workflows across business contexts.
You will work with Python or TypeScript, APIs, vector databases, and LLMs to deliver production-ready AI features. This role requires fluent German and a hybrid on-site presence in Munich.
We are partnering with a Series A-funded AI company building intelligent software for complex business environments.
This is an opportunity to join a small, highly capable engineering team where AI is central to the product, not an experimental side project.
You will work across software engineering and applied AI, taking ideas from early concept through to production. The focus is on building systems that solve real problems, work reliably with real-world data and create measurable value.
This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will have the freedom to shape how new AI capabilities are designed, built and deployed in production.
We're looking for an engineer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with genuine hands-on experience building AI systems.
You don't need to come from a traditional ML background. What matters is that you can build software and understand how to use modern AI technologies to create production-ready solutions.
You'll ideally have:
You should care about writing software that is maintainable, reliable and scalable.
The expectation isn't simply to get an AI prototype working. You'll need to think about architecture, reliability, observability, testing and what happens when the system meets real users and real data. We are looking for somebody with 6 months' worth of productionised based agentic AI / Multi-Agent Orchestration.
