HolidayPirates is seeking a Team Lead Social Media DACH to drive growth and engagement across German-speaking markets. You’ll lead a team of Social Media Managers, turning global strategies into local content, and owning KPIs with weekly progress reporting.

You’ll coach peers to make data-driven decisions, run global campaigns locally, and stay ahead of platform changes with a test-and-learn mindset. Remote-first with international reach.

Formación

• Native German and business-level English.
• Hands-on video production experience for TikTok and Instagram.
• Proven ability to hit KPIs, dashboards, and Google Analytics.
• Experience running structured tests (A/B tests).
• Strong understanding of social platforms and algorithm changes.
• 3–5 years leading a social media team with measurable results.

• We’re looking for a Team Lead Social Media DACH with a strong data and content background to drive our social media results across the DACH area - from audience growth and reach, to traffic and conversion
• You’ll lead a team of Social Media Managers, set priorities and coach each person towards their fullest potential. You’ll turn our global channel strategy into a local content plan, run global campaigns in your markets and feed what you learn back to the global strategists. You’ll work closely with the market and content teams in DACH, and you’ll own the KPIs and report weekly on goal achievement
• You’ll be a hands‑on leader who enjoys building a test‑and‑learn culture, stays ahead of algorithm changes and new formats, and is excited about using AI and new tools to work smarter and faster
• You lead a team of Social Media Managers: you set priorities, give regular feedback, and coach each person towards data‑driven decisions
• You plan resources, coverage, and onboarding, and you build the hiring plan for the team
• You set quality standards and make sure brand and copyright guidelines are followed
• You own the social media KPIs and OKRs for DACH and define goals and strategy together with the global strategists
• You check dashboards weekly, spot trends early, and change tactics based on the data
• You report weekly on goal achievement and are accountable for the outcome
• You translate the global channel strategy into a content plan for your markets and make sure your team delivers it
• You execute global campaigns locally and feed market insights back to the global strategists
• You work closely with the market and content teams in DACH to align on goals and priorities
• You monitor algorithm changes and new features and make sure your team adopts them quickly
• You run a test‑and‑learn culture: you try new formats and global initiatives, document the learnings, and share them with the team
• You stay hands‑on where it matters, for example in video formats for TikTok and Instagram
