HolidayPirates Group is seeking a Team Lead Social Media DACH (m/f/d) with a strong data and content background to drive our social media results across the DACH area - from audience growth and reach, to traffic and conversion. You’ll lead a team of Social Media Managers, set priorities and coach each person towards their fullest potential.

You’ll turn our global channel strategy into a local content plan, run global campaigns in your markets and feed what you learn back to the global

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leading a social media team with measurable results.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Strong understanding of social platforms and their algorithms.
• KPI, dashboards and Google Analytics proficiency.
• Native German and business-level English.
• Experience leading across multiple markets.
• Hands-on video production for TikTok and Instagram.
• Experience using AI tools in content creation.

We’re looking for a Team Lead Social Media DACH (m/f/d) with a strong data and content background to drive our social media results across the DACH area - from audience growth and reach, to traffic and conversion.

You’ll lead a team of Social Media Managers, set priorities and coach each person towards their fullest potential. You’ll turn our global channel strategy into a local content plan, run global campaigns in your markets and feed what you learn back to the global strategists. You’ll work closely with the market and content teams in DACH, and you’ll own the KPIs and report weekly on goal achievement.

You’ll be a hands-on leader who enjoys building a test-and-learn culture, stays ahead of algorithm changes and new formats, and is excited about using AI and new tools to work smarter and faster.

For this role you can be based inGermany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the UK and Poland.

DUTIES ON DECK

Lead and develop your team

• You lead a team of Social Media Managers: you set priorities, give regular feedback, and coach each person towards data-driven decisions

• You plan resources, coverage, and onboarding, and you build the hiring plan for the team

• You set quality standards and make sure brand and copyright guidelines are followed

Own the results

• You own the social media KPIs and OKRs for DACH and define goals and strategy together with the global strategists

• You check dashboards weekly, spot trends early, and change tactics based on the data

• You report weekly on goal achievement and are accountable for the outcome

Turn strategy into execution

• You translate the global channel strategy into a content plan for your markets and make sure your team delivers it

• You execute global campaigns locally and feed market insights back to the global strategists

• You work closely with the market and content teams in DACH to align on goals and priorities

Keep the team ahead of the curve

• You monitor algorithm changes and new features and make sure your team adopts them quickly

• You run a test-and-learn culture: you try new formats and global initiatives, document the learnings, and share them with the team

• You stay hands-on where it matters, for example in video formats for TikTok and Instagram

YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years leading a social media team, with results you can show in numbers
• A track record of coaching people and growing them into data-driven decision makers
• Solid understanding of how social platforms and their algorithms work, and the ability to adapt quickly when they change
• Confident with KPIs, dashboards and Google Analytics, and experience running structured tests
• Native German and business-level English
• Experience leading across multiple markets
• Hands-on experience producing video for TikTok and Instagram
• Experience using AI tools in content creation, analysis or testing (this is new, see below)
• An example of a creative idea that measurably increased reach, traffic or conversion
