OPmobility is seeking a quality professional in Germany to lead customer-facing quality topics and drive robust problem-solving in a manufacturing setting. You will manage containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions across the product lifecycle.

You will support new product launches, ensure conformance to control plans, and conduct audits while tracking quality KPIs. Fluency in German/English and travel readiness are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering or comparable technical qualification.
• Certification or training in quality management is an advantage.
• Proven experience in Quality in automotive with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 knowledge.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skills in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of FMEA, PPAP and APQP; experience with 8D, 5 Why, SPC.
• Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%; excellent presentation and stakeholder skills.

Aufgaben

• Act as the primary customer contact for all quality topics.
• Lead structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Why, A3 and QRQC.
• Ensure containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Define/release rework instructions and manage quality alerts.
• Lead and support customer complaint analysis.
• Support new product launches (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, Run@Rate).
• Ensure adherence to control plans and conduct process audits (VDA 6.3).
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to reducing CNQ through proactive actions and containment.
• Drive poka-yoke and verify within production processes.
• Lead quality technicians and foster a strong quality mindset.
• Drive digitalization projects in Quality with data analytics on large datasets.

• Ensure adherence to control plans and conduct process audits (e.g., layered audits, VDA 6.3)
• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, initiating continuous improvement measures
• Contribute to the reduction of Cost of Non Quality (CNQ) through proactive problem-solving and implementation of corrective actions
• Drive poka-yoke implementation and verification within production processes
• Lead and support quality technicians, ensuring training and a strong quality mindset
• Drives digitalization projects within Quality, with strong data analytics skills and the ability to work with and interpret large datasets

Profile

• Degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification (university or technical college)
• Additional certification or training in quality management is an advantage
• Proven experience in Quality, in automotive industry with solid knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of core quality methods (FMEA, PPAP, APQP)
• Practical experience with quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, SPC
• Fluent in German and English
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Excellent presentations, communication and stakeholder management skills
