Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an Site IT Engineer (m/f/d) to support and improve IT systems across our operations in Germany. The role covers 1st level support, infrastructure administration, and rollout of enterprise applications used in office and R&D settings.

You will implement IT security standards, collaborate with regional teams, and maintain up-to-date documentation for local applications and systems. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• University or engineering degree in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure administration.
• Strong knowledge of IT operations, infra administration, system config, monitoring and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
• Solid understanding of common IT systems used in office and R&D such as M365, AutoCAD, CATIA.
• Good knowledge of office networks, datacenter infrastructure, climate control, cabling, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, IP management.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support for IT systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, improve and troubleshoot IT infrastructure components.
• Rollout and support of IS applications (O365, ERP, PLM, R&D tools).
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.
• Follow Group IT standards and IT security/compliance practices.
• Act as local contact for IT rollouts and coordinate with regional/Group stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to the Country/Cluster IT Manager.
• Develop and update operational docs including business continuity plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, backup systems, cabling, and related equipment.
• Participate in the rollout, support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of various IS applications, including O365, ERP, PLM, R&D tools, and others.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and promptly resolve issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Follow Group IT standards and implement best practices related to IT security and compliance.
• Act as the local point of contact for IT system rollouts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with regional and Group stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to the Country/Cluster IT Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update operational documentation, including business continuity and contingency plans for local applications and systems.

Profile

• University degree or Engineering degree with a specialization in Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure administration.
• Strong knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure administration, system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
• Good understanding of common IT systems and applications used in office and R&D environments, such as Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.
• Solid knowledge of office networks, datacenter infrastructure and climate control, cabling, Wi-Fi, VLANs, IP address management, and related technologies.
• Fluent in German, with a good command of English.
