OPmobility in Regensburg is seeking a Site Finance Manager (m/f/d) to partner with the Plant Manager and Leadership Team to drive site profitability and performance.

The role leads budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, while coaching the Finance team and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Fluent German and English, a Master’s in a relevant field, and SAP FI/CO expertise are required to thrive in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Min. five years in Controlling, Finance, or Business Analysis.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and accounting.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
• Advanced SAP FI/CO and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager and Leadership to support site performance and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning with stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance vs budget and forecast; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure timely reporting of monthly results, forecasts, risks, opportunities, and capex.
• Analyze variances and identify root causes of deviations.
• Drive productivity improvements and monitor action plans.
• Advance plant financial systems to support operational excellence.
• Lead and develop the Finance team; foster accountability and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Closely partner with the Plant Manager and Leadership Team to support the overall management, performance, and profitability of the site
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Monitor, analyze, and challenge financial performance against budget and forecast targets, and drive appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results, forecasts, risks and opportunities, as well as capital expenditure performance to the Business Unit
• Analyze variances and identify root causes of financial and operational performance deviations
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of associated action plans
• Lead the continuous enhancement and optimization of the plant’s financial and information systems to support operational excellence
• Manage, develop, and coach the Finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; implement and optimize organizational structures within the department
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, internal control requirements, and reporting standards

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in Controlling, Finance, or Business Analysis, preferably within the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles
• Proven experience partnering with operational management teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive and pragmatic approach
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI/CO) and Microsoft Office applications
