Job summary

OPmobility SE is seeking aSenior Finance Controller to partner with site leadership in Sterbfritz, Germany. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, reporting monthly results, and driving corrective actions to meet targets.

You’ll guide productivity programs and strengthen internal controls within a manufacturing context. The role requires a Master’s in Finance or related field and 5+ years in Controlling, with fluency in German and English and SAP expertise.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, or Business Analysis within the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in partnering with operational management teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on mindset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and challenge financial performance against budget and forecast targets and drive corrective action plans.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results, forecasts, risks and opportunities, and investment performance to the Business Unit.
  • Analyze variances and identify root causes of deviations from financial and operational targets.
  • Drive productivity improvement initiatives and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of action plans.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the site's financial and information systems to support operational excellence.
  • Lead and develop the Finance fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; implement and improve structures within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.
