NewCold is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site civil, mechanical, and electrical construction activities across projects. The role requires coordinating general contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with 5+ years of construction management experience, on-site availability, and proficiency in English, alongside familiarity with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS

Qualifications

• Degree or background in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction management experience.
• Willing to be on site full time and lead on-site teams.
• Proficient in English and able to coordinate with international stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, safety standards and quality controls.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Your role as Site Construction Manager

To support our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit a Construction Manager to join our team.

Our future colleague shall possess all skills & experience to plan and supervise a wide range of General Contractors & Personnel from start to finish. You will actively help the contractors organize and manage construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

A Site Construction Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the desired results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and good organizational skills and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

The goal is to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and in strict accordance with all quality requirements. Additional duties shall include but will not be limited to:

Duties and responsabilities:

• Organise and supervise the general contractor and other contractors on site and provide direction and guidance when needed.
• Ensuring compliance on site with safety, health, and quality standards.
• Plan, monitor and ensure proper timely execution of all construction operations, including intermediate handover dates.
• Set performance goals and deadlines for the different contractors.
• Assist in the creation of the overall project schedule, evaluate progress, and provide reporting.
• Support utility coordination and applications.
• Support the change management process.
• Ensure the implementation of project specific quality control and quality assurance plans in accordance with corporate policy.
• Support in obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities as required.
• Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings, and facilitating cooperation among contractors and vendors.

Who are we looking for?

You have:

• Degree or background in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Willing to be on site full time.
• Proficient in English.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Self Starter.
