Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Worms, Germany is seeking an experienced Onsite Construction Project Manager to lead a portfolio of small- to medium-sized plant and infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning. The role requires coordinating across engineering, operations, maintenance, EHS, procurement, finance, suppliers, and contractors to meet scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality goals.

Prior FMCG/chemical/process industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing onsite construction and plant/infrastructure projects.
• FMCG/ CCPG/ chemical or process industry experience.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project execution plans, integrated schedules, milestones, budgets, forecasts, and reporting routines.
• Lead coordination across engineering, operations, maintenance, EHS, procurement, finance, suppliers, and contractors.
• Manage project governance, stakeholder communication, action tracking, decision logs, risks, issues, and change control.
• Small plant projects, including gatehouse remodelling, security camera upgrades, and walkway improvements.
• Site-clearance projects involving three silos exceeding 100 m³ and an automated perfume dosing machine.
• Green Heat initiatives, including a small gas boiler and heat-pump installation for building heating.
• Office consolidation involving refurbishment and extension of an office building.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Project Manager to lead a portfolio of small- to medium-sized plant and infrastructure projects . The successful candidate will manage projects from planning and detailed design through construction, commissioning, handover, and close-out, ensuring delivery in line with approved scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Project Engineer will support client to manage project throughout the project cycle. Single point of coordination for overall project execution,
• Experience in projects from FMCG / CCPG/ Chemical / Process industries.
• Relevant work Experience in range of 5 to 10 years.
