Job summary

Infineon in Neubiberg, Germany is seeking a Simulation and Concept Staff Engineer to shape power device concepts and drive innovative simulations within the R&D team. You will develop and simulate power device concepts, guide projects with technical insight, and mentor colleagues.

The role interfaces device concepts with applications, explores new ideas, manages risks, and contributes to IP. Fluent English is required, German skills are a plus, and you will work in a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Degree in Microelectronics, Physics, Electronics or similar.
• Solid knowledge about the physics of semiconductor devices.
• Deep knowledge of device and process simulation (TCAD).
• Experience with analog circuit simulations is beneficial.
• Working experience with the SiC material system is beneficial.
• Fluent English; German skills are a plus.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Do you like challenging specialized technical work? Furthermore, you want to develop your knowledge about power devices at Infineon and be part of it? If you bring a solid experience in the physics and simulation of semiconductor devices and processes, you should join our team.

• A degree in Microelectronics, Physics, Electronics or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in physics, nanoelectronics, power electronics or related field
• Solid knowledge about the physics of semiconductor devices
• Working experience in the SiC material system is beneficial
• Deep knowledge of device and process simulation (TCAD)
• Experience in analog circuit simulations is beneficial
• An open mind for new ideas being receptive to other ways of thinking or working
• A results-driven mentality as well as a good sense for upcoming innovation
• Fluent communication skills in English and ideally good German skills
