Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Neubiberg seeks a Senior Director Infrastructure IP Development to lead the Infrastructure IP domain, aligning Clock/Reset/Power/Monitoring with the roadmap. You will drive cross-functional execution across locations, translate product needs into precise technical plans, and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries while maintaining governance and risk controls.

You will mentor teams, manage dependencies, and collaborate with global stakeholders to advance decarbonization

Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical field.
  • 8+ years of project and/or domain leadership experience, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in project setup, feasibility planning, implementation steering, and closure.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation methodologies (e.g., FMEA-oriented approaches).
  • Knowledge of planning methodologies and tools (Waterfall and Agile); ISO-oriented process and documentation discipline; ISO26262 exposure is an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to align teams without direct reporting lines.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Enable and lead cross-functional collaboration across locations to deliver as one team and remove blockers early.
  • Own the Infrastructure IP scope – Clock, Reset, Power, Monitoring - define future direction and translate into actionable plans.
  • Define, plan, and monitor work packages and milestones to ensure reliable delivery with quality.
  • Translate platform requirements into technical requirements and coordinate end-to-end architecture, design, verification, integration, and marketing activities.
  • Perform risk assessment and lifecycle risk management, including trade-offs and alignment with budget and roadmap.
  • Ensure regular management reporting on status, risks, dependencies, and closure plans with ISO-aligned documentation.
  • Respond to customer field issues and develop the team through coaching and capability building.

Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Enable and lead effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and locations so all functions deliver as one coordinated team and remove cross-functional blockers early and elevate critical dependencies in time- Own the Infrastructure IP scope – Clock, Reset, Power, Monitoring - priorities and execution with clear accountability and provide visionary leadership by defining the future direction of the Infrastructure IP domain and translating it into actionable plans- Define,plan, and monitor work packages and milestone releases to ensure reliable and predictable delivery and enforce timeline discipline and milestone adherence, balancing schedule targets with feature scope and quality- Translate platform and product requirements into clear technical requirements for implementation teams and coordinate and synchronize architecture, design, verification, integration, and technical marketing activities end-to-end- Perform risk assessment and lifecycle risk management, including transparent trade-off decisions and support budget and profitability planning aligned with roadmap and business goals- Ensure regular, structured management reporting on status, risks, dependencies, and closure plans and ensure ISO-aligned documentation, governance, and auditable decision records- Ensure timely response to customer field issues as part of domain maintenance and develop the team further through coaching, mentoring, and systematic capability building
