Job Summary

We are seeking a ServiceNow System Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and ongoing performance of an enterprise ServiceNow platform supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with ServiceNow administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, data management, user administration, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform and support day‑to‑day platform operations.


• Apply ServiceNow updates, patches, upgrades, and routine maintenance.


• Manage users, groups, roles, access, and licenses.


• Maintain data integrity and perform data imports, exports, and data management activities.


• Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports and dashboards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and provide technical support.


• Support ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, Service Portal, Knowledge Management, and related capabilities.


• Assist with platform testing, performance monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands‑on ServiceNow System Administration experience.


• Experience with ServiceNow platform maintenance, upgrades, and patching.


• Experience with user, group, role, and access administration.


• Experience with ServiceNow data management, reports, and dashboards.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.


• Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow environments.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)


• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)


• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Customer Service Management (CIS‑CSM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ServiceNow in a U.S. Federal Government environment.


• Experience with ITSM, CSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, or Knowledge Management.


• Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management, Virtual Agent, or Performance Analytics.


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and ITIL practices.

Work Location

Remote within the United States, with occasional onsite or travel requirements as needed.

Clearance

U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain the applicable federal background investigation or Public Trust suitability determination.

Compensation

The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job‑related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
