The Cloud People in Germany is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead ServiceNow implementations and deliver scalable, out-of-the-box solutions while guiding customer workshops and architecture governance.

You will own solution design, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive design decisions with best practices, ensuring maintainable, future-ready architectures across ITSM/ITOM/HR/CSM/IRM domains.

We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our growing team in Germany (Leinfelden-Echterdingen) and lead ServiceNow implementations that drive real change.

As a Solution Architect, you will take a front seat in customer-facing roles, guiding organizations through their ServiceNow journey. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions, leveraging the ServiceNow platform to its fullest potential, while minimizing unnecessary customization.

What You will Do

• Lead Solution Design: Translate complex business needs into functional, scalable ServiceNow solutions, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities wherever possible.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Conduct workshops and clarification sessions to gather, validate, and refine requirements.
• Own the Architecture: Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and implementation approaches that align with enterprise goals.
• Document Everything: Create and maintain solution documentation- ranging from high-level designs (HLDs) to detailed low-level designs (LLDs) and agile artifacts (Epics/User Stories).
• Support Estimations & Scoping: Lead the effort in defining implementation phases, estimating effort, and shaping project scope for both ongoing and future engagements.
• Quality & Governance: Oversee solution quality, ensure alignment with business processes, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Knowledge Sharing & Training: Empower clients through training and workshops. Participate in internal expert communities to share knowledge and grow your expertise.
• Contribute to Presales (Occasionally): Provide support with demos, estimates, and solution design during presales activities as needed.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role within ServiceNow projects.
• Expertise in at least one major ServiceNow solution area (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, IRM).
• Relevant ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification(s).
• Strong understanding of both the business and technical sides of ServiceNow solutions.
• Experience with agile delivery methods, story writing, and iterative design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to create detailed documentation and ensure system maintainability.
• A strong focus on best practices, out-of-the-box configurations, and scalable architecture.
