Vestas in Meßkirch is seeking a Service Technician SKT to maintain wind turbines on-site and ensure reliable operation. You will work in a team to inspect climb assist systems, lifts, cranes and winches, and perform modification measures to boost turbine performance.

You will document work digitally, receive comprehensive onboarding and continuous training at the Vestas Academy. A completed electrical/industrial/mechatronics qualification, German fluency, basic English, and a BE driving licence

Formación

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, industrial mechatronics with EFK permission, or building services engineering.
• Able to prepare and document technical reports independently.
• Residence in the region with home every evening.
• Experience with Microsoft and iOS operating systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Driving licence class BE preferred, comfortable working at heights.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you are responsible for the inspection and maintenance of climb assist systems, lifts, cranes and winches
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, industrial mechatronics with EFK permission or building services engineering
• You can prepare and document technical reports independently
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a driving licence, ideally class BE
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
