Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our Germany-wide field service team. You will replace and repair main turbine components, travel within Germany during the week, and support customers at construction sites with a focus on safety and quality.

We offer a permanent contract under the IG Metall framework, onboarding via the Vestas Academy, a company van for site travel, and a clear development path in wind energy. Very good German and good English are essential.

Competenze

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the work week.
• Ability to prepare and document technical reports independently.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products and SAP; good English and German skills.

Your responsibilities –here'swhere you can get involved!

• During the working week, you will be deployed throughout Germany and work in flexible service teams of around seven technicians
• Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for replacing and repairing the main/large components of wind turbines
• Your work will also involve collaborating with external service providers, e.g. for the use of telescopic mobile cranes and transport companies
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mecanical enginieering
• You can prepare and document technical reports independently
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a driving licence B
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
