Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair wind turbines across Germany. The role offers extensive onboarding, regular training at the Vestas Academy, and the chance to work with state-of-the-art wind energy technology.

You will travel within Germany during the workweek, returning home on weekends. A vocational qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering is required, plus a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel within Germany.
• Strong German and good English skills.
• Ability to prepare and document technical reports.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy across Germany in flexible service teams of technicians.
• Replace and repair main/large wind turbine components.
• Collaborate with external service providers (cranes, transport).</br>Document work digitally and efficiently.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• During the working week, you will be deployed throughout Germany and work in flexible service teams of around seven technicians
• Working as part of a team, you willbe responsible forreplacing and repairing the main/large components of wind turbines
• Your work will also involve collaborating with external service providers,e.g.for the use of telescopic mobile cranes and transport companies
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mecanical enginieering
• You can prepare and document technical reports independently
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level
• You have a driving licence B
• Very goodGerman and good English skills round off your profile
