Job summary

Vestas seeks a Service Technician to service and maintain wind turbines on-site, primarily within the Hannover region. You will work with a team, addressing faults, analyzing error messages, and implementing improvements to turbine performance.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in relevant technical fields is required.
• Excellent German and good English skills are essential.
• Willingness to work regionally with home evenings.
• Able to work at heights and comply with safety procedures.
• Valid Class B driver’s license (BE may be funded).

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure turbine reliability.
• Work in a two-person team to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages to identify root causes.
• Perform modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

• You ensure our wind turbinesoperatereliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accuratelyidentifythe cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level
• You have avalid Class B driver’s licence(financial support forClassBE may be available)
• Very goodGerman and good English skills round off your profile
