Job summary

Vestas in München seeks a Service Technician (m/f/d) to perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring reliable operation and safety. You will join a team, travel within Germany during the week, and return home on weekends without shift work.

The role includes training at the Vestas Academy, opportunities for skill development, and a supportive, collaborative environment within a global wind-energy leader.

Qualifications

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification.
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend.
• You are familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work in a team of at least two people to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause.
• Carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
