Job summary

Vestas, the global leader in wind energy, seeks a Service Technician for on-site work in the region. You will ensure wind turbines operate reliably through servicing and maintenance, repair faults, analyze error messages, and implement modifications to boost performance.

Work will involve teamwork and documentation of all tasks. The role focuses on hands-on technical work with state-of-the-art wind energy technology, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and professional development through

Qualifications

• Formal vocational training as stated in the profile.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Experience with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps.

Responsibilities

• On-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines.
• Repair turbines and resolve faults as part of a team.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages to identify causes.
• Implement modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics with EFK permission or energy and building technology
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
