Vestas is the global leader in wind energy and invites you to join as a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines HV. The place of work is Großweitzschen, with a permanent contract under a future-oriented collective agreement.

You will receive comprehensive onboarding at the Vestas Academy, including qualification as an electrician (DIN VDE 0105-100). The role requires a valid Class B driver’s licence and German (B2) plus good English. Home return each evening and no shift work are offered.

Competenze

• Completed apprenticeship or vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or energy/building technology.
• Very good German language skills (B2) and good English.
• Comfortable working at heights and safe operation above ground level.

Mansioni

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work as part of a team (usually two people) to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages to identify the root cause.
• Implement modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities –here'swhere you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbinesoperatereliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults

• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accuratelyidentifythe cause

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or energy and building technology

• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening

• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

• You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level

• You have avalid Class B driver’s licence(financial support forClassBE may be available)

• Very good German (B2) and good English skills round off your profile
