Job summary

JOBSTODAY.WORLD is seeking experienced Service Technicians / Field Service Technicians (m/w/d) to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical servicing at customer locations across Germany. This on-site/field-based role requires a mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics background and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include traveling to client sites, testing equipment, reading manuals and drawings, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency at B1/B2 level or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical service, installation, maintenance or repair.
• Completed vocational training in a technical field (Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Installation Technology or related).

• Install, assemble, and commission equipment, machinery and technical systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and servicing.
• Diagnose technical faults and implement appropriate solutions.
• Travel to customer locations to complete installation and service assignments.
• Test equipment and verify correct operation after installation or repair.
• Read technical manuals, drawings and service documentation.
• Identify technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers, colleagues, and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and technical standards.

About the Role

We are hiring experienced Service Technicians / Field Service Technicians (m/w/d) to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical servicing at customer locations across Germany.

This opportunity is suitable for professionals with backgrounds in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, equipment installation, or general technical maintenance.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience and be comfortable working independently at different customer sites.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Installation Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical service, installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Strong practical skills and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
• Reliable, organised, and customer-focused working style.
• German language proficiency at B1/B2 level or higher, depending on client requirements.
• Valid German driving licence (Class B).
• Currently residing in Germany or legally authorised to work in Germany.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
