Zusammenfassung

Siemens Energy sucht am Standort Berlin einen Service Repair Engineer (w/m/d) zur Unterstützung der Reparatur- und DfR-Prozesse. In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie an der Entwicklung, Qualifizierung und Verbesserung energiespezifischer Turbinenteile und arbeiten eng mit Design- und Fertigungsteams zusammen.

Qualifikationen

• Abschluss: Bachelor in Maschinenbau, Werkstoffkunde oder verwandtem Bereich.
• Mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung im Reparatur-Engineering oder ähnlichem.
• Erfahrung in Fertigungsprozessen, Materialverhalten oder DfR bevorzugt.

Aufgaben

• Leitung und Koordination von Reparatur-, Modifikations- und DfR‑Entwicklungsprojekten (technische und zeitliche Verantwortung).
• Unterstützung bei der Implementierung neuer Reparaturtechnologien; technische Shop-Unterstützung; Bewertung von Nichtkonformitäten.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Tragwerks- und Baugruppenentwicklung, Qualität und Fertigung zur Bereitstellung von Reparaturlösungen.
• Sicherung von Dokumentation, Nachverfolgung und Kommunikation von Meilensteinen, Risiken und Qualifikationen.
• Beitrag zu Kostenreduktionsinitiativen und Prozessverbesserungen durch strukturiertes Projektmanagement.

Service Repair Engineer (w/m/d)

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will be part of the Service Engineering Repair team supporting refurbishment of turbine components such as blades, vanes and ring segments. You will contribute to the development, qualification and continuous improvement of cost‑effective repair processes for Siemens Energy and external vendor shops worldwide. You will collaborate with New Product Design colleagues to support design reviews and Design for Repair (DfR) initiatives.

Your tasks include engineering support for internal/external factories, repair process innovation, advanced technology development, DfR development and qualification projects. By implementing innovative technologies and leading cross‑functional project activities, you will help extend component life, increase reliability and reduce refurbishment costs.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive and coordinate repair, mods and upgrades and Design for Repair (DfR) development and qualification projects (technical and timeline responsibility)
• Support implementation of new repair technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing), provide technical shop support and process related non‑conformance evaluations
• Collaborate with lifting & design engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliver repair solutions
• Ensure documentation, tracking and communication of project milestones, risk assessments/mitigations and process qualifications
• Contribute to cost‑out initiatives and process improvements through structured project work
• Interface with global teams and support knowledge transfer across regions

What You Bring

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline
• Several years of relevant professional experience in a related professional field
• Experience in manufacturing processes, materials behavior, design for manufacturing and/or repair technologies is preferred
• Proven ability to manage technical projects including planning and coordination with an affinity for digital tools and data‑driven problem solving
• Experience with SAP and Mendix as well as basic programming or data analysis skills (e.g. Python, Excel VBA, SQL) are a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration, a proactive and customer‑focused mindset, a structured and team‑oriented working style, as well as willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for project and shop support activities and openness to international teamwork
