Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead embedded system projects within our ANNAX division. The role blends technical knowhow with leadership, focusing on planning, scheduling, and execution from bid phase to commissioning.

You will coordinate with hardware and software teams, work with the commercial project manager and the customer, manage budgets, provide bid and presales support, and engage key suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in embedded systems, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Experience in hardware and/or software development.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware architectures and digital electronics.
• Familiarity with the embedded Linux environment.
• Understanding of IP/Ethernet networks.
• Fluency in English and German (French an asset).
• Experience in the rail industry is a plus.
• Experience as a project manager is an asset.

Senior Technical Project Manager is a hybrid role encompassing both tech knowhow and technical leader, a technical project manager is instrumental in the planning, scheduling, and management of embedded system projects. The role has a potential to grow into a team leading position.

What will your typical day look like?
