Marine Systems & Piping

In this position, you will independently manage complex subsystems in the area of propulsion systems during the basic design phase. This includes engines, shaft systems, steering systems, rudder propellers, transverse thrusters, and stabilizers.

Your tasks will include:

Independent creation of concept and design documentation.

Technical evaluation of proposals and support of the procurement process.

Review and preparation of design documents for internal company use.

Supervision and technical coordination of subcontractors during development, design, production, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests).

Independent creation and maintenance of bill of materials (BOM).

Interface coordination with related departments and trades up to delivery.

Responsibility for approval procedures with classification societies, flag states, and customers.

  • Completed degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in propulsion systems (engines, shaft, steering, propeller systems, etc.).
  • Independent, structured working style and high quality awareness.
  • Confident use of the English language (German is a big plus).
  • Team spirit and strong technical understanding.
