Lobster DATA GmbH in Germany is seeking a Solutions Engineer (m/f/x) for hybrid or on-site work at our HQ in Tutzing. You will own the end-to-end technical sales cycle, collaborating with sales, engineering and professional services to turn customer input into technical wins.

You will craft tailored solution concepts and implementation approaches while engaging with customers to identify technical champions and drive value in the DACH region.

Qualifikationen

• Real-world experience with data integration (APIs, EDI, IoT, ETL, EAI, Message Bus) and the related business processes they support.
• Ability to map key personas within the buying cycle, craft tailored narratives for diverse stakeholders, and cultivate technical champions.
• Experience with B2B sales qualification frameworks (e.g. MEDDPICC) is a plus.
• Proficiency in German and English.

Position Overview:

This is a vacancy for a hybrid or on-site role at our HQ in Tutzing. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity. As a guideline, you will be on-site in Tutzing 2-3 days per week for close collaboration and alignment. The remaining days can be worked remotely.

As we expand our investment into growing our subscription revenue in the DACH region, we are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer (m/f/x) to join our Services Department. This department is a group of experienced technicians and solution architects that turn customer challenges into data‑driven solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle. From technical discovery, technical champion building, tailored demos, RFIs, and use case workshops - you take customer input and turn it into a technical win.

We’d love to meet someone with:

• Real-world experience with multiple forms of data integration (such as APIs, EDI, IoT, ETL, EAI, Message Bus, or others) and the related business processes they support


• Proficiency in conducting technical needs assessments and uncovering underlying business and technical requirements


• The ability to map key personas within the buying cycle, craft tailored narratives for diverse stakeholders, and successfully cultivate technical champions who advocate for Lobster’s value in our absence


• Comprehensive awareness of customer challenges, business processes, and core systems commonly found in the Retail / Wholesale, Manufacturing and/or Logistics industries


• Exceptional ability to deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts on both a business and technical level


• Experience withB2B sales qualification frameworks (e.g. MEDDPICC) is a plus


• Proficiency in German and English
