DOUGLAS Group is seeking a Senior SAP Finance Consultant to actively shape our global finance system landscape. You combine in-depth SAP Financial Accounting expertise with a strong understanding of processes and drive transformation projects in SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• Degree in business informatics or business administration or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as an SAP Financial Accounting Consultant in international SAP landscapes.
• Solid understanding of integration of SD and MM with Financial Accounting; experience designing finance processes and system solutions.
• Experience steering projects or sub-projects and hands-on implementation in the system.
• Strong ability to break down complex requirements and align with stakeholders at different levels.
• Desirable: SAP S/4HANA, SAP transformations, integrations, e-invoicing, agile ways of working, ITIL-based services.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Take functional responsibility for SAP Finance solutions and advise finance departments across the DOUGLAS Group.
• Analyse business requirements and develop solutions within SAP standard and enhancements.
• Design and optimise end-to-end processes focusing on FI, AP, AR and Asset Accounting and related banking processes.
• Ensure seamless integration between FI and SD/MM modules.
• Lead projects and sub-projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advance finance system landscape through transformation and digitalisation initiatives in SAP S/4HANA.
• Work with developers and business users to ensure high quality in solutions and processes.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• You take functional responsibility for our SAP Finance solutions and advise the finance departments across the DOUGLAS Group on efficient and sustainable processes
• Analysing business requirements, you develop suitable solutions within the SAP standard and through targeted enhancements
• Designing and optimising end-to-end processes is at the heart of your role, with a focus on Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Asset Accounting as well as banking and payment processes
• Seamless integration between SAP Financial Accounting and adjacent modules such as Sales & Distribution and Materials Management is your responsibility
• Leading projects and sub-projects independently, you coordinate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• As part of transformation and digitalisation initiatives, particularly in the SAP S/4HANA environment, you advance our finance system landscape. You also drive the standardisation, harmonisation and simplification of finance processes across all DOUGLAS markets
• Together with developers, key users and business departments, you ensure high quality in our solutions and processes

Your Skills

• You hold a degree in business informatics or business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as an SAP Financial Accounting Consultant in international SAP landscapes have given you very good knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting
• Your solid understanding of how Sales & Distribution and Materials Management integrate with Financial Accounting is complemented by experience in designing and implementing finance processes and system solutions
• Experience in steering projects or sub-projects is part of your background, and you are happy to get hands-on with implementation in the system
• Breaking down complex requirements in a structured way, you translate them into viable solutions and align them purposefully with stakeholders at different levels
• Ideally, you bring experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP transformation projects. Knowledge of SAP integrations and interfaces, e-invoicing and digital compliance requirements, as well as agile ways of working and ITIL-based service processes, is also desirable
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both spoken and written
