DOUGLAS Group in Düsseldorf is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist Subledger (f/m/x) for a 24-month fixed-term contract. You will manage subledger activities, primarily accounts payable, and work in SAP.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, resolve invoice issues, process bank transactions, and help standardise and automate purchase-to-pay processes while maintaining high data quality. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualificações

• Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of accounting experience within a corporate group with strong accounts payable expertise.
• Experience with SAP and bank accounting is advantageous.
• Excellent German and English language skills.

At our headquarters in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist Subledger (f/m/x) to join us on a 24-month fixed-term contract.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including reviewing, coding and posting supplier invoices in SAP


• Independently resolve invoice queries, payment reminders and outstanding issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders


• Process and reconcile bank transactions and help resolve outstanding payment items


• Prepare and review SAP payment runs


• Support selected travel and expense activities and their accounting treatment


• Help improve, standardise and automate our purchase-to-pay processes, with opportunities to take on responsibilities in other accounting areas over time

Alongside these competencies, we are particularly interested in the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification


• Several years of accounting experience within a corporate group and strong accounts payable expertise, ideally complemented by experience in bank accounting


• Excellent MS Office skills and confident use of SAP, ideally with experience in digital invoicing or travel and expense processes


• Excellent German and English language skills


• A positive mindset, a collaborative approach and a drive to challenge, standardise and automate processes
