CarOnSale in Munich seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to own Service and Sales Cloud workstreams, including Apex, LWC, and platform integrations. You will shape data models and ensure reliable, scalable cloud solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You bring 4+ years of Salesforce development, expertise in Apex/LWC/Visualforce, and strong SQL skills. English at C1 level; German not required but welcome.

• Relational data modeling with SOQL/SQL and event-driven integration patterns.

Your responsibilities

• You build and customise Service Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions that carry our dealer and buyer processes end to end
• You own Apex classes, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages across the Inventory team's scope
• You design and maintain the two-way integration between Salesforce and our core platform — REST APIs, Platform Events, event-driven flows
• You decide where standard configuration is enough (Flows, metadata, permission sets) and where custom development earns its place
• You design data models and API integrations that keep transaction data consistent between Salesforce and our backend systems
• You take ownership of underused platform features and reduce technical debt in the existing codebase
• You secure reliability and performance through monitoring, release management and clean deployment practice
• You work in agile sprints and shape the architecture decisions behind them

What you bring

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, with Service Cloud and Sales Cloud in production
• Deep command of Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
• Strong relational data modelling with SOQL and SQL
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and Salesforce integration patterns — REST APIs, Platform Events
• Clear judgement on standard platform configuration (Flows, metadata, APIs) versus custom development
• Comfortable in release management and scrum frameworks, and able to carry a technical argument in a business conversation
• English at C1 level, written and spoken
• AI-fluent working style — you use tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot actively in your day-to-day

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications, particularly Platform Developer I or II, or Service Cloud Consultant
• German at B2 level
• Experience mentoring other developers and reviewing their work
