CarOnSale, Munich-based, seeks an experienced Salesforce developer to own the Service Cloud and Sales Cloud layers powering our platform. You will work on Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and the critical two-way integration with our core system.

Applicants bring 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development in production, strong data modeling, and a pragmatic view on standard configuration vs custom solutions. Hybrid role in Munich with remote days.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years hands-on Salesforce development in production.
• 2- to 3-sentence requirement cannot exceed 140 chars each.
• Strong data modelling with SOQL and SQL.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Salesforce integrations.

Location: Munich – you work on site in our office, hybrid with 3 days office and 2 days remote.

Your responsibilities

• You build and customise Service Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions that carry our dealer and buyer processes end to end
• You own Apex classes, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages across the Inventory team's scope
• You design and maintain the two-way integration between Salesforce and our core platform — REST APIs, Platform Events, event-driven flows
• You decide where standard configuration is enough (Flows, metadata, permission sets) and where custom development earns its place
• You design data models and API integrations that keep transaction data consistent between Salesforce and our backend systems
• You take ownership of underused platform features and reduce technical debt in the existing codebase
• You secure reliability and performance through monitoring, release management and clean deployment practice
• You work in agile sprints and shape the architecture decisions behind them

What you bring

• 4+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development, with Service Cloud and Sales Cloud in production
• Strong relational data modelling with SOQL and SQL
• Solid understanding of event‑driven architecture and Salesforce integration patterns — REST APIs, Platform Events
• Clear judgement on standard platform configuration (Flows, metadata, APIs) versus custom development
• Comfortable in release management and scrum frameworks, and able to carry a technical argument in a business conversation
• English at C1 level, written and spoken
• AI‑fluent working style — you use tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot actively in your day‑to‑day

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications, particularly Platform Developer I or II, or Service Cloud Consultant
• German at B2 level
• Experience mentoring other developers and reviewing their work
