CarOnSale is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to own Service Cloud and Sales Cloud implementations for dealer and buyer processes in a hybrid Berlin office. You will manage Apex, LWC, and Visualforce across the Inventory scope while integrating Salesforce with the core platform via REST APIs and Platform Events.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, solid data modelling with SOQL/SQL, and a strong grasp of event-driven architectures.

• 4+ years Salesforce development with Service Cloud and Sales Cloud in production.
• Strong relational data modelling with SOQL and SQL.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and Salesforce integration patterns.
• Clear judgement on standard configuration versus custom development.
• Comfortable with release management, Scrum frameworks and technical-business discussions.
• English at C1 level (written and spoken).
• AI-enabled working style with tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot.

Responsabilidades

• You build and customise Service Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions that carry dealer and buyer processes end to end.
• You own Apex classes, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages across the Inventory team's scope.
• You design and maintain the two-way integration between Salesforce and our core platform (REST APIs, Platform Events, event-driven flows).
• You decide where standard configuration is enough (Flows, metadata, permission sets) and where custom development earns its place.
• You design data models and API integrations that keep transaction data consistent between Salesforce and our backend systems.
• You take ownership of underused platform features and reduce technical debt in the existing codebase.
• You secure reliability and performance through monitoring, release management and clean deployment practice.
• You work in agile sprints and shape the architecture decisions behind them.

Location: Central Berlin. You work on site in our office, hybrid with 3 days office and 2 days remote.

Your responsibilities

• You build and customise Service Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions that carry our dealer and buyer processes end to end
• You own Apex classes, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages across the Inventory team's scope

What you bring

• 4+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development, with Service Cloud and Sales Cloud in production
• Strong relational data modelling with SOQL and SQL
• Solid understanding of event‑driven architecture and Salesforce integration patterns (REST APIs, Platform Events)
• Clear judgement on standard platform configuration versus custom development
• Comfortable in release management and scrum frameworks, and able to carry a technical argument in a business conversation
• English at C1 level, written and spoken
• AI‑fluent working style. You use tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot actively in your day‑to‑day

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications, particularly Platform Developer I or II, or Service Cloud Consultant
• German at B2 level
• Experience mentoring other developers and reviewing their work
