Job summary

Axel Springer Tech GmbH in Berlin seeks a seasoned QA Manager to lead mobile app quality assurance, test automation, and agile leadership. You will own the QA strategy, drive scalable testing, and mentor QA engineers and working students in a fast-moving cross-functional team.

Working with developers, product owners and designers within a Scrum framework, you will design test plans, evolve automation frameworks, ensure stability, performance and end-to-end quality across our apps.

Qualifications

• Seasoned QA Manager with mobile app QA, test automation, and agile leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, TestSigma, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in manual testing and documenting test cases.
• Experience with Scrum in agile environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Charles Proxy, and test management systems.
• Strong communicator and mentor.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German a plus but not required.

• through practical experience in manual testing, you create test cases and maintain clear documentation
• within agile environments, you apply Scrum methodologies confidently and effectively
• when working with Jira, Charles Proxy, and test management systems, you navigate QA processes with ease
• as a strong communicator, you foster collaboration across teams and support others through mentoring
• with fluent written and spoken English, you communicate effectively in an international environment, German is a plus but not required
