Job summary

ELEKS Project Management Office seeks a Senior Project Manager for Germany to lead digital hospital transformation projects with cross-functional teams. You will drive agile ceremonies, manage scope/budget/risks, and coordinate stakeholders across IT, business, and external providers. Strong English and on-site availability in Magdeburg are expected.

Role requires proven PM and Scrum Master experience, and hands-on use of Jira/Confluence, MS Project, and Miro for planning and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Five+ years as Senior Project Manager in digital/web/CMS projects.
• Three+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Experience with change management and transformation initiatives.
• Experience with agile, traditional, and hybrid delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or similar methods.
• Experience with sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog management.
• Experience in schedule, budget, quality, risk, dependency, escalation management.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication with executive management and stakeholders.
• Hands-on Jira/Confluence/Microsoft Project/Miro experience.
• Very good English for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own operational project management and coordination of all involved teams.
• Serve as central contact for the customer.
• Create and maintain project, milestone, and communication plans.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and dependencies.
• Establish and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
• Coordinate collaboration across client, business, UX/UI, analysis, development, QA, DevOps.
• Prepare and facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies.
• Ensure transparent and iterative project progress.
• Lead daily status alignment meetings and weekly status reports.
• Facilitate status, steering, and escalation meetings.
• Manage requirements, decisions, acceptance, and release processes.
• Coordinate QA, UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Support organization in new processes, systems, and ways of working.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, data protection, and security requirements.
• Participate in required on-site meetings in Magdeburg.

ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Poland, Croatia, or Germany.

ABOUT PROJECT

ELEKS is starting a new collaboration with a leading hospital in Germany. The project focuses on the digital transformation of the hospital’s public website and intranet, including the introduction of a new content management system, migration of existing content, and transition into ongoing service operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least five years of proven professional experience as a Senior Project Manager in complex digital, web, portal, or CMS projects.
• At least three years of practical experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Proven experience in change management and supporting organizational transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing agile, traditional, and hybrid project delivery models.
• Solid practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or comparable agile methodologies.
• Experience with sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog management, and agile reporting formats.
• Experience in schedule, budget, quality, risk, dependency, and escalation management.
• Experience leading and coordinating interdisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills with executive management, project leadership, business stakeholders, IT, data protection, information security, and external service providers.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project (or similar planning tools), and Miro.
• Very good English language skills for collaboration with international project teams.
• Reliable availability during the agreed CET/CEST core working hours.
• Willingness and confirmed availability for approximately ten on-site meetings with the client in Magdeburg during the project duration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for operational project management and coordination of all involved project teams.
• Central point of contact for the customer/client.
• Creation and maintenance of the project management plan, milestone plan, and communication plan.
• Management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and dependencies.
• Establishment and continuous maintenance of the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
• Coordination of collaboration between the client, business departments, UX/UI, business analysis, development, quality assurance, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Preparation and facilitation of sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
• Ensuring transparent and iterative project progress.
• Conducting daily internal status alignment meetings.
• Preparation of a weekly written status report.
• Preparation and facilitation of status meetings, steering committee meetings, and escalation meetings.
• Stakeholder, risk, change, issue, and escalation management.
• Management of requirements, decision-making, acceptance, and release processes.
• Coordination of quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), approvals, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Supporting the organization in introducing new processes, systems, and ways of working.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, data protection, and security requirements.
• Participation in required on-site meetings in Magdeburg.
