Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed project plan outlining tasks, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies for the project.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including senior management, project team members, vendors, and business units, to ensure alignment and support for the migration project.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient utilization and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of the migration project. Develop contingency plans and escalation procedures as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and processes for the migration project, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management processes to manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables throughout the migration project lifecycle.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, performance, and key metrics against established baselines. Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and updates to project stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers involved in the migration project to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement: Facilitate lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of the migration project to capture insights, identify areas for improvement, and apply best practices to future projects.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing complex IT projects, in a project management role (Total Experience: 12+ years) crisis management, or operations, ideally with exposure to technical/product teams
  • Track record of leading cross‑functional, high‑pressure programs and launches
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Microsoft Project, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and managing project resources in a matrixed organization.
  • Professional fluency in German and English—reading, writing, and spoken—required for managing regional stakeholders, technical coordination, and documentation.
