Yanfeng seeks a senior CAE Simulation Engineer to lead interior product simulations across Europe with global teams in China, Germany, US and India.

You will perform simulations per specs, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with design and testing to ensure strong correlation between CAE and physical tests, while supporting budgets and BBP standards.

Fluent in German and English, you will mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews on system integration, safety and crashworthiness.

• Responsible for CAE simulations of interior products supporting the European customer engineering interface in collaboration with global development teams across China, Germany, US and India.
• Perform simulations in accordance with internal and customer specifications, as well as applicable legal requirements and develop technical solution proposals.
• Prepare and present technical reports that meet internal and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with design and testing teams to develop optimal product solutions ensuring milestone achievement and high correlation between simulation and test results.
• Plan, coordinate and delegate simulation activities within global development teams to support the Best Cost Country (BCC) strategy and achieve budget targets.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams supporting key engineering activities and sharing knowledge with junior engineers and global teams.
• Actively participate in technical reviews related to system integration, structural performance and safety requirements.
• Support the CAE organization in identifying technical risks and implementing preventive actions.
• Actively participate in task force activities for critical programs, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions and problem resolution.
• Drive Best Business Practice (BBP) implementation and contribute to the development and standardization of CAE methodologies across global teams.

Experience/Skills

• Master's degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in CAE simulation and virtual product development.
• Knowledge of automotive interior systems, including instrument panels, floor consoles, door trims, airbags and seating systems.
• Experience in CAE safety integration, crashworthiness simulations, sub-system validation and NVH analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard CAE software including HyperWorks, ANSA, Primer, LS-DYNA, PAM-CRASH and Animator.
• Solid understanding of simulation methodologies, result interpretation and correlation between CAE and physical testing.
• Experience in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications and Linux environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Business fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, analytical, and solution-oriented with strong interpersonal and teamworking abilities.
