Zusammenfassung

Avatr GmbH in Munich seeks a skilled CAS Modeler to turn design visions into high-quality 3D models for automotive projects. You will model, refine surfaces, and collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment with engineering specifications.

The role requires 4+ years in a global automotive setting, fluency in English, and proficiency with Maya or SubD; Autodesk Alias a plus. You may travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience in a global automotive context, preferably with OEMs.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Expert knowledge in Maya or SubD; Autodesk Alias is a plus.
• Familiarity with Grasshopper, Blender, or rendering/VR software is a plus.
• High proficiency in modeling and delivering the highest surface quality.

• Problem Solving: Advise and propose solutions to address design and engineering challenges.

• Regulatory Compliance: Consider engineering and design requirements, as well as legal regulations, in an independent and focused manner.
• Data Compilation: Compile data from team members to support engineering needs and milling activities.
• Project Management: Utilize project management skills to coordinate input and output between design and engineering teams.
• Presentations: Prepare CAS presentations to a predefined standard.
• Surface Quality Assurance: Ensure that surface quality meets AVATR requirements for the relevant project phase.
• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned
