AVATR Global Design Center in Munich seeks a CAS Modeler to create high-quality 3D models aligned with design intent and engineering specifications. You will work with design and engineering teams to ensure cohesive project execution and maintain regulatory and surface quality standards.

The role requires 4+ years in a global automotive context, fluency in English, and hands-on experience with Maya/SubD and Autodesk Alias is a plus. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

• Ensure surface quality meets AVATR requirements for the relevant project phase.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you will do:

• 3D Modeling: Create high-quality, accurate 3D models that align with design intent and engineering specifications
• Problem Solving: Advise and propose solutions to address design and engineering challenges
• Collaboration: Maintain close synergy between design, modeling, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive project execution
• Regulatory Compliance: Consider engineering and design requirements, as well as legal regulations, in an independent and focused manner
• Data Compilation: Compile data from team members to support engineering needs and milling activities
• Project Management: Utilize project management skills to coordinate input and output between design and engineering teams.
• Presentations: Prepare CAS presentations to a predefined standard
• Surface Quality Assurance: Ensure that surface quality meets AVATR requirements for the relevant project phase
• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned

What you will bring:

• Education: Degree or equivalent in Automotive/Industrial Design or Engineering.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in a global automotive context, preferably with OEMs.
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge Maya or SubD in required, Autodesk Alias is a plus. Familiarity with Grasshopper, Blender, or rendering/VR software is a plus. High proficiency in modeling and delivering the highest surface quality.
