Zusammenfassung

SAP Fioneer GmbH is seeking a Senior Manager Group Accounting & IFRS (m/f/d) to lead closing, reporting, and policy development in a cloud-first, high-growth fintech environment. The role focuses on IFRS 15, HGB, and multi-country revenue models, with a hybrid work model and collaboration across finance teams.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of accounting experience, SAP ERP expertise (S/4HANA), and fluency in English and German to drive accurate financial reporting and scalable processes.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA a plus.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in software or professional services.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15) and HGB.
• Experience with financial statement prep, group reporting, and consolidation.
• Proficient with SAP ERP, preferably S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Fluent in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue and related accounts.
• Lead revenue recognition processes for software licenses, SaaS, and professional services across multiple GAAP standards.
• Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheets, P&L, and cash flows under IFRS and HGB.
• Own group reporting, consolidations, and external disclosures.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, controls, and documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesfor revenue and related accounts, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Lead the end-to-end process of revenue recognitionfor software licenses, SaaS, and professional services, ensuring compliance withIFRS 15andlocal GAAPfor20 countries.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements(balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) under both IFRS and HGB, ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Take ownership of group reporting, consolidating results and coordinating the activities that power both internal decisions and external disclosures.
• Build and evolve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsthat keep our financial reporting rock-solid.
• Author technical accounting memosand documentation that stand up to audit scrutiny.
• Manage internal and external auditswith confidence and clarity, serving as the primary point of contact and owning the resolution of accounting and reporting matters.
• Continuously improve financial systems and processes, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability in a cloud-first environment.
• Be a trusted advisoron financial reporting topics across the business.

What You Bring

• A degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field— CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a big plus.
• 6+ years of experiencein accounting, ideally in the software or professional services space.
• Deep knowledgeofIFRS (especially IFRS 15) and HGB— and the ability to apply it in real-world, fast-moving scenarios.
• Strong experience infinancial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation.
• Experience withSAP ERP, preferably S/4 HANA,and a passion for leveraging technology to improve processes.
• Stronganalytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Fluent inEnglish and German.
