Zusammenfassung

SAP Fioneer in Germany is seeking a Senior Manager Group Accounting & IFRS (m/f/d) to lead IFRS/HGB compliance, revenue recognition, and group reporting across multiple entities. You will shape policies, direct audits, and drive automation in a cloud-first environment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in accounting, deep IFRS 15 knowledge, SAP ERP experience (S/4 HANA), and fluency in English and German. CPA/ACCA is a plus, and you thrive in a fast-growing fintech setting.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACCA a plus.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably software or services.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS (esp. IFRS 15) and HGB.
• Experience with financial statement prep, reporting, consolidation.
• Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4 HANA; tech-focused mindset.

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closes for revenue and related accounts.
• Oversee revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and services across 20 countries.
• Prepare and review IFRS and HGB financial statements, balance sheet, P&L, cash flow.
• Own group reporting and consolidation; coordinate internal and external disclosures.
• Develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; support audits.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesfor revenue and related accounts, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Lead the end-to-end process of revenue recognitionfor software licenses, SaaS, and professional services, ensuring compliance withIFRS 15andlocal GAAPfor20 countries.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements(balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) under both IFRS and HGB, ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Take ownership of group reporting, consolidating results and coordinating the activities that power both internal decisions and external disclosures.
• Build and evolve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsthat keep our financial reporting rock-solid.
• Author technical accounting memosand documentation that stand up to audit scrutiny.
• Manage internal and external auditswith confidence and clarity, serving as the primary point of contact and owning the resolution of accounting and reporting matters.
• Continuously improve financial systems and processes, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability in a cloud-first environment.
• Be a trusted advisoron financial reporting topics across the business.

What You Bring

• A degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field— CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a big plus.
• 6+ years of experiencein accounting, ideally in the software or professional services space.
• Deep knowledgeofIFRS (especially IFRS 15) and HGB— and the ability to apply it in real-world, fast-moving scenarios.
• Strong experience infinancial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation.
• Experience withSAP ERP, preferably S/4 HANA,and a passion for leveraging technology to improve processes.
• Stronganalytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Fluent inEnglish and German.
