To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist (m/f/d) in full-time. The initially one-year limited position can be based in Cuxhaven or Hamburg, with regular presence at the Cuxhaven location. Collaboration is possible either within the framework of a fixed-term employment contract or on an interim basis.
YOUR TASKS
- You independently manage all administrative HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- As a competent contact person, you advise and support managers and employees on all personnel‑related issues.
- You handle labor law topics and individual personnel measures independently, providing well‑founded recommendations for action.
- Creating and managing employment contracts, contract amendments, and other personnel‑related documents is part of your responsibilities.
- You are responsible for maintaining personnel master data, time management systems, and digital personnel files in our HR software rexx.
- As an interface to our external payroll service provider ADP, you ensure the timely preparation and follow‑up of payroll processing.
- Additionally, you support year‑end closing tasks as well as HR‑related evaluations, reports, and statistics.
- You critically question existing processes, continuously develop them further, actively drive the digitization of administrative HR workflows, and help shape modern HR standards.
- You actively support organizational change processes and contribute to cross‑departmental HR projects.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training in human resources or a degree with a focus on HR management, business, or law.
- You can look back on several years of professional experience in a generalist HR role.
- You have in‑depth knowledge of individual labor law and operational core HR processes.
- You are accustomed to independently advising managers and developing pragmatic, legally sound solutions.
- You are confident in both administrative topics and more complex HR‑related issues.
- Ideally, you have already gained experience in organizational development, process changes, or similar transformation projects.
- You constructively question established processes and enjoy making them more efficient, digital, and future‑proof.
- You have practical experience working with external payroll service providers, ideally with ADP.
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
