Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support major energy and industrial projects in Germany. You will lead electrical activities across the project lifecycle from FEED to start-up and ensure deliverables meet international standards.

The role requires 12+ years in Oil & Gas, Energy or Industrial sectors, familiarity with load lists, single line diagrams, power studies, and coordination with clients, vendors, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Offshore or Industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of power generation, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and power distribution.
• Experience developing electrical load lists, power studies, and detailed electrical designs.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEC, and NFPA standards.
• Experience with ETAP and SmartPlant Electrical is preferred.
• Previous EPC and commissioning experience would be advantageous.

• Prepare and review electrical deliverables including load lists, single line diagrams, cable sizing calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform power system studies and electrical design calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Support procurement activities, technical bid evaluations, and vendor management.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, energisation, and start-up.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the electrical discipline.
