Kardex in Germany is seeking a Senior Director (m/f/d) Controlling Operations to lead a global finance function across Operations, Supply Chain and R&D. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, performance management and capital planning, while strengthening business partnering with senior leadership.

You will oversee Supply Chain and Manufacturing Controlling, inventory and cost analyses, SAP S/4HANA and BI-enabled insights, and play a key role in automation and excellence initiatives across

Formación

• Proven leadership experience in Finance and Controlling within industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong Finance Business Partnering experience supporting senior leadership teams.
• Knowledge of production processes and supply chain performance metrics.
• Solid track record in budgeting, forecasting, performance management and cost optimization.
• Experience driving growth, margin improvement and working capital initiatives.
• Advanced SAP (ECC/S4HANA) and Power BI knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Act as strategic Finance Business Partner to the Managing Directors and leadership team of Operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, performance management and cash planning processes.
• Drive financial transparency and business performance across Operations: Supply Chain and Technology.
• Lead Supply Chain and Manufacturing Controlling, including inventory, cost and productivity analysis, and finance transformation, incl. SAP and analytics.
• Support strategic business decisions through financial modeling, investment evaluations and business cases.
• Lead R&D Controlling, including project cost analysis, product portfolio analysis, and cost center controlling.
• Drive margin improvement, cost optimization and working capital management initiatives.
• Ensure governance, compliance, risk management and internal controls.
• Develop and coach finance talent and strengthen business partnering across the organization.
• Deliver results for the business segment with people management responsibility and succession planning.
• Contributing to the global SAP S/4HANA implementation project.

Your tasks

• Act as strategic Finance Business Partner to the Managing Directors and leadership teamof Operations

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, performance management, and cash planning processes

• Drive financial transparency and business performance across Operations: Supply Chain and Technology

• Lead Supply Chain and Manufacturing Controlling, including inventory, cost, and productivity analysisas well as finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, including SAP and analytical solutions

• Support strategic business decisions through financial modeling, investment evaluations, and business cases

• Lead R&D Controlling, including project cost analysis, product portfolio analysis, cost center controlling

• Drive margin improvement, cost optimization, and working capital management initiatives

• Ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls

• Develop and coach finance talent and strengthen business partnering capabilities across the organization

• Deliver results for the business segment with full people management responsibility and succession planning accountability

• Contributing to the global SAP S/4 HANA implementation project

Your profile

• Proven leadership experience in Finance and Controlling within an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Strong Finance Business Partnering experience supporting senior leadership teams

• Knowledge of production processes is a must, preferred in a Finance/Controlling role in manufacturing industrywhereby it is elementary to understand supply chain processes and operational performance metrics

• Solid track record in budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and cost optimization

• Experience driving business growth, margin improvement, and working capital initiatives

• Advanced SAP (ECC/S4HANA) and Power BI knowledge
