Job summary

MOTOR Ai GmbH is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance our hybrid infrastructure in Berlin. You will own end-to-end Kubernetes management, CI/CD optimization, and cloud resource coordination to enable scalable autonomous mobility testing.

The role emphasizes building robust, automated workflows, data-lake governance for training data, and proactive problem solving with Grafana/Prometheus monitoring, in a collaborative, innovative team.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, cloud computing or IT apprenticeship.
• Minimum 6 years of systems administration and DevOps experience in a modern environment.
• Strong Kubernetes (EKS), Docker and Ansible expertise.
• Extensive Terraform usage and monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Administer Kubernetes environment end-to-end and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Terraform/Ansible.
• Manage resources across AWS (EKS) and NeoCloud providers for high performance.
• Oversee data lake training data, apply filters, and remove noise in training phases.
• Serve as senior technical consultant to streamline developer workflows.
• Implement and maintain monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus during core hours.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to further develop our hybrid infrastructure.

Tasks

• Handling the end-to-end administration of our Kubernetes environment and optimizing CI/CD pipelines through Terraform and Ansible
• Managing resources across AWS (EKS) and innovative NeoCloud providers to ensure a seamless, high-performance architecture
• Oversight of training data within a Data Lake, including the implementation of sophisticated filters for incoming streams and the removal of noise from training phases
• Serving as a high-level technical consultant to solve complex problems for development teams and streamline internal workflows
• Implementing and maintaining technical monitoring using Grafana and Prometheus to ensure high performance and stability during core business hours

Requirements

• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, cloud computing, or an IT apprenticeship
• A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in systems administration and DevOps and a proven track record in a modern DevOps environment
• Mastery of Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Ansible
• Extensive experience using Terraform and frameworks such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking and identity providers like Keycloak or Active Directory
• A "fix-it-once-and-automate" mentality, combined with a high degree of openness toward new tools like GPUaaS
• The ability to evaluate and integrate emerging NeoCloud providers into a cohesive hybrid strategy
• A genuine love of learning and a proactive growth mindset that embraces trying new things and viewing mistakes as vital opportunities for technical evolution
• Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is an advantage
