Zusammenfassung

iVentureGroup is seeking an IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to own production IT operations (24/7) and help evolve our modern platform stack. You will join a cross-functional team working with the central SRE group and embedded DevOps engineers to shape scalable infrastructure that delivers real business value.

The role emphasizes daily IT operations with a DevOps mindset, cross-team collaboration, platform thinking, and continuous improvement of reliability, observability, and automation.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in infrastructure operations and systems engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and modern DevOps tooling.
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and monitoring stacks.
• Experience in multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, OVH, gcore, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving mindset and a drive to automate everything.
• German language skills at least B2 (written & spoken); English proficiency required.

• Ensure reliability and uptime of production systems (Kubernetes, networks, storage).
• Operate and evolve monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Cribl.io.
• Respond to incidents and perform root-cause analysis in high-availability environments.
• Contribute to building self-service platforms and GitOps-based workflows.
• Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams across product squads.
• Participate in migrations and modernization projects (e.g., VMware to Nutanix).

You're passionate about keeping infrastructure stable and continuously improving it? Then this is your role. As an IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer, you'll take ownership of our production IT operations (24/7) and contribute to evolving our modern platform stack.

You’ll join a cross-functional, silo-free team and work closely with our central SRE team and DevOps engineers embedded in product teams. Together, you'll shape infrastructure that empowers development and drives real business value.

This is what you do in our team

This is not a traditional sysadmin role. We’re looking for someone who excels in daily IT operations but also lives the DevOps mindset. Someone who enjoys working across teams, thinks in terms of platforms, and wants to build infrastructure that scales.

• Ensure reliability and uptime of our production systems (Kubernetes, networks, storage)
• Operate and evolve monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Cribl.io
• Respond to incidents and conduct root cause analysis in high-availability environments
• Contribute to building self‑service platforms and GitOps‑based workflows
• Continuously optimize infrastructure, performance, cost‑efficiency and security
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with SRE and DevOps colleagues across teams
• Take part in migrations and modernizations, e.g., VMware → Nutanix, Fortigate → Palo Alto, IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code)

This is what you are good at

• Good German language skills at a minimum B2 level, both written and spoken
• Several years of experience in infrastructure operations and systems engineering
• Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes and modern DevOps tooling
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and monitoring stacks
• Experience in multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, OVH, gcore, etc.)
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and a desire to automate everything
• Ideally: coding experience in Golang or Python
• Excellent English skills are required for this position. Good German skills are a plus but not mandatory.
