WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant & Technical Project Lead, you will represent our cybersecurity business in the German market, combining client consulting, project leadership, proposal support, and coordination with specialized delivery teams in Spain.

Your main tasks are:

• Lead or co‑lead cybersecurity consulting projects from a technical and delivery perspective.
• Act as a technical interface between customers in Germany and GMV’s cybersecurity delivery teams in Spain.
• Translate customer requirements, risks, and compliance needs into clear technical requirements and delivery priorities.
• Support tenders, proposals, pre‑sales activities, and technical offer preparation.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of cybersecurity solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments.
• Provide technical support across topics such as security architecture, vulnerability management, incident response, security monitoring, cloud security, identity security, infrastructure security, and compliance‑related topics.
• Ensure high‑quality project delivery, customer satisfaction, and clear communication across all parties involved.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for Cyber Security Experts with experience in consulting, technical project leadership, and international collaboration.

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or information security.
• Experience in cybersecurity consulting or customer‑facing technical roles.
• Proven experience in leading or co‑leading technical projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, standards, architectures, and best practices.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and BSI IT‑Grundschutz.
• Ability to bridge technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers.
• Strong ownership, self‑organization, and accountability.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills in German and English.
• Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritise risks effectively.
• Collaborative mindset and experience working with international or distributed team.

WE WILL ALSO VALUE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE IN:

• Experience in cybersecurity consulting, technical proposals, tenders, or pre‑sales support.
• Knowledge of cloud security, SOC/SIEM operations, incident response, and security monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with leading security platforms and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto).
• Familiarity with regulated environments, security standards, and relevant cybersecurity certifications.
