Job summary

Wavestone Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a cybersecurity consultant to help clients develop modern security strategies and embed processes and technologies within their organizations.

You will design and implement holistic IT security architectures, conduct risk assessments, and strengthen security awareness through targeted initiatives. Fluent German and strong English are required, and willingness to travel within Germany and the EU is expected; you will grow quickly through hands-on consulting

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Law or related field.
• Professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally in a consulting environment.
• Fluent in German and very good English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel as part of the consulting role.
• Passionate about Zero Trust, IAM, cloud security, DevSecOps, AI security, product and OT security, SAP security, monitoring, governance, risk and compliance.

• You’ll work with our clients to develop modern security strategies and help them effectively embed processes, technologies, and methods within their organizations.
• You’ll plan and implement holistic IT security architectures that are sound not only technically but also organizationally - thereby making a tangible contribution to the secure transformation of their IT landscape.
• You’ll conduct cybersecurity assessments, analyze risks, derive clear recommendations, and help strengthen security awareness through targeted awareness initiatives.
• You’ll grow quickly through hands‑on consulting experience, work on diverse projects, and continuously deepen your cybersecurity expertise.
• You’ll work as an equal team member on a peer‑to‑peer basis, contribute your ideas, and actively help shape our cybersecurity division.
• You’ll contribute to the growth of our cybersecurity business unitthrough networking, knowledge sharing, and building trusted relationships in the market.
• You’ll explore a wide range of cybersecurity topics, develop your own area of specialization, and build a strong professional network within the cybersecurity community.

Your Profile

• You hold a degree with above-average academic performance in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• You have gained initial professional experience in one or more areas of cybersecurity, ideally within a consulting environment.
• You’re passionate about cybersecurity topics such as Zero Trust, identity and access management, cloud security, DevSecOps, AI security, product and OT security, SAP security, security monitoring, governance, risk, and compliance.
• You’re energetic, curious, and take initiative rather than waiting for others to set the direction.
• You’re committed to using generative AI responsibly, understanding its limitations, and critically evaluating AI-driven results.
• You are fluent in German and have very good English skills, both written and spoken. You're also willing to travel as part of your consulting role.
