Job summary

Privatal is seeking a Senior Financial Controller in Frankfurt to take ownership of budgeting, financial performance and management reporting. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions and turn financial analysis into clear business decisions.

The role involves owning budgeting and forecasting across revenue and costs, and providing a complete view of performance through P&L, balance sheet and capital planning considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial controlling, budgeting or FP&A within banking, insurance or a comparable financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of revenue, costs and the relationship between the P&L and balance sheet.
• A practical understanding of capital planning in a regulated business.
• Confidence working independently and challenging senior stakeholders constructively.
• Hands-on approach and strong analytical skills.
