Job summary

Camino Search is partnering with a fast-growing tech business to hire a Senior FP&A Controller. This is a key role reporting to the CFO, owning FP&A, M&A support and project controlling as the business scales. You will lead liquidity planning, management reporting and financial modelling for acquisitions and development projects.

The role requires 5+ years in relevant finance functions, fluent German and English, and a hybrid setup with 1-2 days in Stuttgart.

• 5+ years in controlling, FP&A or project controlling, or related finance roles.
• Proven experience building integrated financial models.
• Fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Support M&A through financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and integration.
• Manage liquidity planning and cash flow monitoring; prepare materials for management, Board and investors.
• Coordinate budgeting and rolling forecasts; link P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capex.
• Build integrated financial models for sites, projects and acquisitions, including scenarios.
• Own monthly management reporting at group/entity/site; analyse variances and actions.
• Oversee development and construction budgets, costs, change orders and cost to complete.
• Hybrid working; 1-2 days per week in Stuttgart office.

Camino Search is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology business to hire a Senior FP&A Controller.

This is a key hire within the finance function, reporting directly to the CFO. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of FP&A and project controlling while playing a central role as the business scales. The company is going through an exciting period of growth, with further expansion and acquisitions planned, creating significant scope for the role to develop alongside it.

What you'll be doing

• Support M&A processes through financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and the integration of acquired companies
• Manage liquidity planning and cash flow monitoring, and prepare concise materials for management, the Board and investors
• Coordinate budgeting, rolling forecasts and medium- to long-term planning, linking P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capex
• Build and maintain integrated financial models for new sites, development projects and acquisitions, including scenarios and sensitivities
• Own monthly management reporting at Group, entity and site level, analysing variances and recommending clear actions
• Provide commercial oversight of development and construction projects, including budgets, committed costs, change orders and cost to complete
• 5+ years in controlling, FP&A or project controlling, or in corporate finance, transaction services or financial modelling advisory
• Proven experience building integrated financial models
• Fluent German and English
• Hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week in their Stuttgart office
