Job summary

Detecon combines strategic management consulting with deep tech expertise to guide organizations through digital transformation. You will help position AI visions, develop roadmaps, and drive AI-driven business models across Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, or remote work.

The role emphasizes interfacing between strategy and technology, with sales skills and travel to client sites. Proficiency in German and English is required; STEM or business degrees are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or business administration with several years in data/AI consulting.
• Ability to bridge strategy and technology with strong sales skills.
• Expertise in machine learning, generative & agentic AI, and cloud infrastructures.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, creativity and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally; fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Support C-level executives and managers in positioning AI visions and roadmaps.
• Evaluate and prioritize AI use case portfolios by impact, feasibility and risk.
• Observe trends and derive business cases with ROI, TCO, and scaling potential.
• Support introduction and scaling of AI solutions, moderate workshops, and data-driven models.
• Expand AI portfolio and partner ecosystem to acquire new projects.

• Successfully completed degree in STEM subjects or business administration, as well as many years of experience in consulting on data and AI strategies
• Ability to work at the interface of strategy and technology, combined with strong sales skills
• Expertise in machine learning, generative & agentic AI, and cloud infrastructures for developing customized solutions
• Very good analytical and strategic thinking skills, creativity, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel for projects (domestic or international, depending on preference) and business fluent German and English skills
